This is me and my husband Phillip.  I didn't have a great picture of just me, and since we are practically attached at the hip, I figured it was appropriate to put a picture of us both. 

So, making beads has become my latest passion in a long line of passions that have evolved over the years.  I've been making jewelry for about five years now, and when I discovered lampwork beads I HAD to try my hand at it.  As an jewelry designer, I was always the customer of the bead makers out there, and now I am trying to be the supplier.  I still consider myself a bitof a newbie at beadmaking - have been doing it for a couple of years now and boy is it fun! 

My husband and I both have full time jobs that keep us quite busy.  We have a big back yard for our two trouble makers shown below.  The lab's name is Luke who is going to be three this May (2007) and  Lola is the Rott-mix -- she turned 3 in September.  We have two of the best dogs in the whole world.  They are my babies...and I just love them to pieces.

So, with a full time job, a house with a big yard and two dogs, it's sometimes hard to find time for beads - but I try to practice every day.  The other bead makers I see on ebay certainly provide a lot of inspiration - and as long as bead making stays fun for me, I will continue to make them for as long as I can.
